Sex Toy Review: Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System

About a week ago I was cleaning out the bathroom at my mom’s house and I ran across the Microdermabrasion System made by Neutrogena. All of my vibrators were dead so the thought entered my mind that I could strip off the pad of the face massager, cover it in a condom, and use it as a clitoral vibrator.

I’d heard of people doing this, but was skeptical. After using it several times I must say that it HAD to have been made for clitoral stimulation. Why else would a face massager need two different settings? It works just as well as any of the vibrators I’ve used. It’s inconspicuous… maybe not that inconspicuous laying on top of my “toy” box, but you could definitely keep it in the bathroom and tell people you use it for it’s intended use. It’s quiet, it fits in your hand really well you can put a condom on it and it’s perfectly sanitary (I wouldn’t use it without a condom because there are seams on the edges that could very easily hold bacteria). You can’t use it for any kind of insertion, but if you need your clitoris or penis stimulated with great vibrations it’s the toy for you! It’d also be great to use with a partner.

Really great if you’re a teen or living with your parents and it’s either not legal for you to go into a sex toy store, don’t want to visit a store for whatever reason, or don’t want something your parents or roommate will find and judge you for. It’s about 20 dollars and can be found in a lot of stores that sell beauty products. No wonder they market it to reduce wrinkles, I’m feeling younger already!

FYSE’s Winter Giveaway!

Just reblog or like for a chance to win!

You may reblog or like as much as you want, although someone just pointed out that I’ll only see the one reblog/or like so it won’t raise your chances if you reblog it more than once.

You don’t necessarily need to be following FYSE (although that’d be nice if you did)

I will announce the winner at the end of December.

(sorry for the bad camera quality) image

Condoms!

Pictured here are 3 sheer condoms, one color condom, 2 taste condoms, 3 dots (which is a type of texture) condoms, 6 ribbed condoms, 9 XL condoms, and one internal condom. The external condoms are all from Planned Parenthood’s proper attire brand and are latex condoms. The internal condom is latex free. Most of the XL condoms expire this month so what I would suggest is only using them with toys and not in a situation where STIs or pregnancy would be a possibility as expired condoms are more likely to break. I’ve inspected them all and they seem fine as far as their packaging isn’t damaged and the air bubble is still there but I would suggest checking them again when you get them just to make sure that they weren’t damaged in shipping.

Not pictured here are a few lifestyle condoms I’ll also be including, I just haven’t gotten them yet. They also are latex condoms

Pocket Rocket Vibrator!

I would suggest using condoms with this (like the XL condoms included in this giveaway) as it has a metalic coding which tends to rub off with use. ALthough it says it’s “high quality” it also says that it’s “sold as novelty only” which in sex toy speak means it is low quality as they don’t regulate the materials in novelty toys. It’s unopen and unused and has several different speeds. To clean I would suggest washing with antibacterial soap (just make sure that the cord and controller don’t get wet. Clean before and after each use.

Vibrating Cock Ring

Apparently things in plastic packages are impossible to take pictures of. It’s a jelly cock ring with a vibrator attached. Again, this is novelty use only so you may want to use a condom. Jelly cock rings make good starter cock rings as it’ll fit most penises and you don’t have to really worry about size too much. Vibrating cock rings are great because they stimulate both partners as well as keeping the penis harder for longer. If it starts to hurt, take it off. It says it’s good for up to 30 minutes of vibrating action.

This is the first FYSE giveaway, hopefully at some point I’ll be able to do more, with better quality toys and also including lubes and more variety in condoms but as money is tight and all of these things I got for free it’s still a great giveaway for anyone beginning to get into sex, vibrators, and couple sex toys.

Clitoral Vibrators

Also see: Masturbation Guide

Clitoral vibrators are very popular for a couple of reasons, the clitoris can be really sensitive and fun to stimulate and some people can’t orgasm or feel pleasure through vaginal stimulation alone and need clitoral stimulation to feel pleasure. Really, any kind of vibrator can be a clitoral vibrator if it’s used on the clitoris. However, there are vibrators that can’t be used during penetration or are just better used externally. They don’t necessarily have to be used on the clitoris, they can be used anywhere (externally) that feels good to be stimulated. The main categories are bullet, egg or mini vibrators, pocket rockets, massagers, and wearable vibrators.

Bullet vibrators are small and oblong. They may come with a push button (cheap ones don’t have any varying levels but more expensive ones do), or a cord that attaches to a control panel. The standard shape is that of a bullet, but they’re making more that are more interestingly shaped like the leaf vibes, je joue fifi, or kandi kisses (and other make up shaped incognito vibes.). You can also get a finger bullet like the Trojan brand Vibrating touch that you can get anywhere condoms are sold. Many bullet and mini vibrators come with attachments or are attachment accessible. These (usually silicone) attachments have a unique texture and shape to better stimulate the clitoris, many are patterned after the rabbit ear part of a rabbit vibrator. You can get slightly bigger vibrators that can be standard round shapes, or very unique like the the love bunnies (cute round bunnies), catmouse (a computer mouse), muse (cartoon bunny), anything from the toyfriend line, Doc Johnson’s wonderland series, I rub my ducky (rubber ducky), retro rocket (a rocket ship), zen (stone), forbidden fruit (apple) and Man Eaters From Outerspace (alien). As toys get bigger they get more complex. This includes oral sex simulators, the we-vibe, siri, or various jimmyjane form or luxe vibrators. They come in various shapes, colors and sizes, some have controls on them, some come with controllers, some are waterproof, some plug into your Ipod and send you vibrations based on your music. Many come in silicone, plastic, metal, TPR, thermoplastic rubber, rubber or jelly, and skin like. Everything after metal can have chemicals in it that aren’t necessarily healthy for you and it may be best to use a barrier with it. You can use any of these during masturbation, or you can have a partner use them on you. If you can’t orgasm or don’t feel pleasure through vaginal stimulation, you or your partner can hold it on your clitoris during intercourse.

Pocket Rockets are little, powerful vibrators that are long and wide with the vibrating part at the end. Most are similarly shaped, although they come in different colors, however many come with attachments that can make the stimulation more interesting. Some, like the iKit, come with many attachments. There are some that are more unique, like the dolphin clit teaser, or the hello kitty pocket rocket. Most are plastic, although the attachments can be silicone. Others are non porous TPR, thermoplastic rubber, or rubber or jelly. You can use them during masturbation or with a partner.

Massagers are really high powered and larger, and the vibrating part is at the end. Many plug in like the hitachi magic wand, essential magic wand, mystic mini wand, pocket fairy, and many more. Others run on batteries like the mystic wand, fairy wand, and many others. Some come with attachments as well. They can come in silicone, plastic, thermoplastic rubber, rubber or jelly, or skin like. You can use them during masturbation or with a partner

Wearable vibrators include vibrating panties with remote controls, some attach to Ipods and other music players, some are underwear with a pocket for a vibrator like the Naughty Noir Remote Pleasure line, or club vibe. Others you wear inside underwear like the Club Vibe 2, or the Fetish Fantasy Elite Vibrating Panty. Others are strap on vibrators shaped usually like butterflies. They can be plastic like the wing fling, but most are TPR, thermoplastic rubber, or rubber or jelly like the butterfly effect, venus butterfly, or the interactive mini dolphin. You can use these during masturbation, or with a partner. If it has a controller you can have your partner use it while you’re out and about together. You can also use the strap on ones during intercourse, this can make clitoral stimulation easier if you need it to orgasm or feel pleasure.

As you can tell there are a lot of different kinds of vibrators designed for the clitoris in mind, and lots to choose from. Whenever you sit down to choose think about what you want as far as controls, power, design, material and safety, and features like being waterproof, plugging in, being rechargeable, being quiet, or having nifty features. Think about what you want to use it for, with yourself, with a partner, during sex? All of these are really good questions to ask yourself on your way to finding a good clitoral vibrator.

FYI: there is NO minimum age for buying condoms!

orgasmictipsforgirls:

An anon asked:

This might sound like a strange question but, do you need to be a certain age to purchase a vibrator? ‘cause i know for condoms you have to be 17, the age of consent, but is there one for vibrators?

No no no! You don’t need to be a certain age to buy condoms, it doesn’t matter if you’re under the age of consent or not! I’ve never heard of a shop imposing a limit, and although I suppose some might, I’m not even sure that would be legal. Anyway, there is definitely no age limit law on buying condoms like there is for alchol, for example.

As for vibrators, there’s no legal age limit, but some sex stores / websites have an 18+ door policy. But nobody’s gonna card you at the checkout!

What can I use to masturbate with instead of a vibrator?

orgasmictipsforgirls:

Want a vibrator? But don’t want, y’know, a vibrator?

Here are some other things you could try… some will probably be more powerful than others! if you’ve tried ‘em before, tell me if they worked or not! Leave a reply or get in my ask

1) The humble back massager

2) An electric toothbrush. Sometimes you can take the head off to reveal just a vibrating metal strip. Otherwise, you probably wanna use the back not the bristles!

3) Because when I think of shaving, I definitely want a razor that vibrates? Anyway, you can take the razory bit off to reveal the vibrating tip.

4) Oh look, a vibrator you can clean your face with! Thanks Neutrogena.

5) At a Walgreens or whatever? They have these hidden among the condoms…

6) And even these…

7) Or you could even try taking yourself for a spin cycle…

8) Or get a buzz out of those toy pens…

OK, that’s about everything I could think of! Have fun experimenting ;)

Just make sure that whatever you use is clean and if it’s not an authentic vibrator you either put a condom on it or use non microwavable saran wrap. It’s not ideal but it will make it safer.

EdenFantasys review: Gyration Sensations Gyrating Wave Teaser

When I first started looking for clitoral vibrators from EdenFantasys, I was really only looking for a couple of things; pure silicone, high intensity, and multiple functions. When I came up with this California Exotic Novelties product I was a little bit skeptical. I’d heard bad things, mostly about the quality of what they make their products with. (Remember, “Novelties” means they can get away with less savory materials) However, since it was pure silicone I figured it couldn’t be too dangerous. I smelled it once I got it just in case and it didn’t have a “new sex toy” smell which is usually a good sign. Then I tried it and any skepticism was blown away. Pretty much all of the settings were phenomenal and I actually had multiple orgasms in the matter of minutes. It also remembers the last setting you used which is pretty helpful when you just want to orgasm as soon as possible. Definitely the best clitoral vibrator I’ve ever tried and I’d definitely suggest it to anyone looking for a clitoral vibrator. It has gained a place on my favourite sex toys shelf.

EdenFantasys review: Pure Ecstasy Traditional Vibrator

When picking a vibrator from EdenFantasys, I just knew I wanted two things, something that was pure silicone and something that was made to stimulate the g-spot. That’s when I found the Pure Ecstasy vibrator. It is fantastic, either for g-spot or clitoral stimulation. Since it’s pure silicone it’s really easy to clean, which is great since pure silicone picks up white cat hair like a magnet. It also is very safe, as long as you avoid getting water in the battery parts and other than the battery part it is waterproof. It has 10 settings, there are two or three that are pretty powerful and very orgasmic, I usually alternate between the three. Some of the settings are light enough that it’d probably work for really sensitive clitorises/g-spots as well, although I don’t know how helpful it’d be for people with trouble orgasming. I really like using it either clitorally or on the g-spot with my clitoris stimulated by a bullet vibrator, my hand, or a partner. It’s also pretty quiet and inconspicuous. It’s not the most hide-able, being 7 inches long in all (5 inches being the vibrator part), but it’s a great penetrating vibrator!

Hi, I just found out that I have HPV externally (one wart on the bottom of m labia minora, near the opening) and I was wondering if I could still use my vibrator because it won't be anywhere near it. I'm getting treated for it now but I'm just curious.

it should be fine. It shouldn’t irritate it, just make sure to wash your vibrator well afterwards.

I'm a cis-female and I don't think vibrators work for me. Since I live with my parents, I don't own any sex toys. However, I used to have a vibrating razor when I was younger that I would take the top off of and use to penetrate myself because of the curved end. But whenever I turned on the vibration and tried using it on my clit, I ended up just going numb... I always hear other women talking about how great vibes feel, so I'm wondering if the razor wasn't powerful enough, or if I'm just weird?

Vibrators don’t work for some people. I would suggest experimenting with masturbation (I have a couple of guides in my FAQ) and seeing what kind of stimulation feels good on your clitoris. You can then try a vibrator like a bullet with adjustable speeds and see how that feels
