Alrighty, now it’s time for some Real Blogging about sexual health!
About a week ago I did some livebloggin’ about a facebook ad I got offering free condoms.  I dove down the rabbithole, so to speak, and found a website that does indeed offer free condoms and lube to New Zealand residents, no questions asked, as well as offering a lot of really really good sexual health information specific to gay men, the kind of stuff that just isn’t taught in schools.  It includes practical demonstrations, and narration that’s both incredibly informative and absolutely hilarious.
I decided to sign up for their free condom service because why the hell not, and my condoms arrived yesterday.  (The one damn day my dad’s up to check the mail before me…)  They came, as promised, in an unmarked envelope, complete with the date my subscription runs out, which is handy.  It’s pretty easy to tell what’s in there from the feel of the envelope, but my dad didn’t comment so whatever.
Inside there are two small cardboard packets, with the Love Your Condom logo on them.  They’re nice and compact, and each one contains one condom and one small sachet of lube.  Everything’s a long way away from its expiry date, and seems to be in perfect condition.
The inside of the packet comes with congratulations, which is downright charming. It also comes with instructions on how to put a condom on properly, which is fucking awesome.  Just in case the photo isn’t clear…

Congratulations!
You’re about to get lucky, but first read the tips below.
Open the packet with your fingers (teeth may damage the condom).
Ensure the condom is the right way up.
Put the condom on the head of your cock and squeeze any air out of the tip.
Roll the condom all the way down to the base of your cock.
Use water based or silicone based lube to help prevent the condom from breaking.  Apply to the outer side of the condom, not the inside.
After you’ve cum, hold onto the base of the condom before pulling out.

All in all, this is a fuckin’ fantastic resource, one that I’m so glad my country offers.  While the free condoms are available for New Zealand residents only, there are three short practical documentaries (One demonstrating how to put a condom on, and two discussing safe anal sex, from the perspective of both a top and a bottom.) and articles on every subject from looking at porn to practicing safe fisting, which are available to everyone, that I think heaps of people could benefit from.  It’s a fantastic service, and I really hope as many people as possible take advantage of the knowledge available, since I know it’s just not offered in many places.
Get It On!

This makes me happy.
